  • Abstract
Routine vectorcardiogram (VCG) analysis has been adapted to monitoring. An evaluation of system performance on 31 patients covering more than 300 hours of continuous monitoring is presented. The patients were all ischemic, infarction or unstable angina cases. A majority were on thrombolytic medications. The results show that the approach is reliable enough to follow up the evolution of such a therapy. Moreover, it is believed that it can be used as a basic measurement tool for characterizing the specificity of ST segment changes.<>
