Abstract :
In this paper, we investigate the overall receiver architecture when FTN signaling scheme is applied to DVB-S2 standard. In general, the conventional DVB-S2 receiver has not been taken into account for ISI problem seriously except impairment by satellite transponder. However, it´s inevitable to modify it for FTN signaling application because ISI issue becomes more severe, significantly. We attempt to study reference model as the end to end receiver for FTN signaling in DVB-S2 and to analyze the effect through performance evaluation.
