            Abstract : 
A novel second-order tri-band microstrip bandpass filter has been proposed to provide three passbands centered at 2.4-GHz, 3.5-GHz and 5.25-GHz. The bandpass filter comprises two assembled multiband resonators, with each resonator constructed by two feedline-shared resonators. By using the proposed method the center frequency can be tuned independently over a wide range. The measurement results are found to be in good agreement with the simulation results.
