Abstract :
In this paper, a compact tri-band bandpass filter is designed and fabricated. Three passbands are realized by using two pair of SIRs. Between the second and third passband, a transmission zero is obtained. The band position of the filter can be controlled by changing the impedance ratio of the SIRs, and the bandwidths of the filter can also be controlled by modify the distance between resonators. The filter is compact since there is no additional impedance matching network is needed.
