Abstract :
Research of the electromagnetic torques influencing generators of various types at short circuits on the generator terminals, in a high voltage network is executed, and also at the tightened(delayed) short circuits and commutations in a high- voltage network. It is shown, that the greatest danger for the shaft turbine units represent delayed short circuit and switching operations in the networks, that is repeated disturbances of the electromagnetic torque of the generator.
