Abstract :
The increase in complexity of embedded systems and the demand for earlier prototypes are putting strict requirements on methodologies and supporting tools. Hardware-software co-design is a new design technique that is intended to respond to such requirements by automating and optimizing the joint development of hardware and software. The approach presented in this paper offers a coherent couple methodology-toolset for the entire design cycle of embedded telecommunication systems. Both the methodology and toolset correspond to real-world design cases
