  • Abstract
    The data collecting stations which integrate the data collecting system of the Brazilian Complete Space Mission needed to be improved in order to provide better quality data to their end users, and also simpler procedures for their installation, testing and maintenance. For this purpose a microcontrolled data acquisition system was developed to substitute part of the old stations, with very good results. The new station is based on 87C550-microcontroller and used AvCASE as the development environment for generating its control program. The implemented system presents greater flexibility, robustness and reliability and will gradually substitute the installed stations
