Abstract :
We have demonstrated a novel AlGaAs-AlAs QW structure where the transfer of optical power between two waveguides occurs through a semiconductor cavity and the transfer position depends on wavelength. Such a structure may be configured to provide wavelength dependent gain or absorption for WDM applications
