  • Abstract
This paper presents a simple resistance bridge dedicated to measuring a pair of 51.6 kΩ resistors (which form part of a quadrature bridge) directly against a quantum Hall effect (QHE) reference. It uses a room temperature current comparator of ratio 4, operating with low frequency AC in the range 1 to 10 Hz, and is energized from a single supply in place of the traditional double current source. The design will achieve an overall relative uncertainty of the order a few parts in 109.
