  • Abstract
    In this paper, we investigated both first-order statistics (FOS) and second-order statistics (SOS)-based channel estimators for PE-OFDM system, and proposed a novel channel estimator, which joint the FOS and SOS to estimate channel state information. Numerical simulation illustrate that the FOS-based approach outperforms the SOS-based approach, and the proposed joint estimator has better MSE and BER performance compared with the previous schemes which only use the first-order statistics or the second-order statistics.
