Abstract :
Ultra-wide band (UWB) sources in millimeter wavelength region are of great interest for many applications, including, for example, super-high-speed data communications. We present a UWB source in millimeter wavelength region based on electronic beam modulation by comparatively low-frequency (relative to carrier frequency) regular and noise signals. The presented set-up can be employed as a generator of coherent radiation, generator of UWB signal and noise generator
