Abstract :
Abstract-Arc temperature of high voltage circuit breaker arc extinguish chamber directly influences medium recovery characteristic. In order to measure the arc temperature of circuit breaker arc extinguish chamber, one set of optical measuring system adopted CCD, interference filter and neutral density filter is applied in this paper. Images obtained by this optical system are processed by Matlab language. Image background noise is removed and image edges are obtained, and arc temperature field distribution is obtained.
