Abstract
A complex approach to computer-aided design of the broadband pulse antenna for UWB WPAN communication system is presented in the paper. Investigation of the time- and frequency-domain characteristics of the antenna, ultra-wideband signals and properties of the radiated field are described. The paper discusses parameters and the limitation of UWB signals´ spectrums. Time-domain characteristics and spectrums of different UWB signals are investigated. Results of calculation of the electric field radiated by the antenna are presented
