Abstract
The results of research of internal and external characteristics of a microwave loop antenna produced on a basis of cold plasma of a gas discharge are presented. It is shown that frequency properties of the plasma antenna by input impedance and by radiation characteristics exceed the relevant parameters of usual dipole loop aerials
