Abstract :
An atmospheric-pressure needle corona discharge is a very effective technique in charging polymer films such as PTFE Teflon, PP etc. After that charging process, the author has a strong interest on that charge behavior on/inside the film, especially related with the electrostatic discharge (ESD) phenomena. The author developed the ESD observing system and investigated the charge stability related with the back side electrode, for example. TSDC, PSDC and LIPP methods have been developed for that purpose. Those developed analyzing method and experimental results are described.
