Abstract :
This paper presents a full bridge LCL resonant battery charger suitable for an electric vehicle conductive coupler. The proposed power converter utilizes the circuit parasitic components efficiently to achieve soft switching for the main devices. In addition, the EMI performance is improved in comparison with conventional PWM power converters. The size of the output filter is reduced since the battery can absorb considerable current ripple component without degradation to its performance
