Title :
Ultrawideband Signals and Choi-Williams Transform
Author_Institution :
Kharkiv Nat. Univ. of Radio Electron.
Abstract :
The Choi-Williams transform well known as the square time-frequency transform from Cohen class for the ultrawideband signal analysis was proposed. The general properties, advantages and disadvantages of the Choi-Williams transform were discussed. The ultrawideband signal models based on the atomic functions were analyzed numerically with the Choi-Williams transform and were discussed. The results of the ultrawideband signal analysis performed with the Choi-Williams transform usage with ones based on the Wigner transform and the short-time Fourier transform were compared
