Abstract :
A comparative investigation on channel estimation methods for the down-link of STBC-OFDM system in the mobile communication environment is presented and analyzed in terms of complexity, mean square error, and bit error rate in this paper. As a result, Wiener filter shows the best performance. Concerning the complexity as well as the performance, Lagrange interpolation is considered as a proper choice for the down-link of MIMO-OFDM system.
