Abstract :
This paper proposes two kinds of clock acquisition algorithms for the wavelet-based OFDM system based on the characteristics of correlation of wavelet function and scaling function by using a new improved S-curve. The algorithms utilize the redundancy of wavelet transform to locate the peak points of the correlation function and then estimate the symbols´ clock. Simulation results show that the algorithm based on wavelet function converges faster and based on scaling function behaves more stable. The approaches successfully acquire the correct timing point in AWGN channel.
