Abstract :
In this paper, we demonstrate a wide-tuning range QVCO for UWB system. The QVCO core consumes 7.6 mA at 1.8 V supply and achieves -108.79 dBc/Hz phase noise at 1MHz offset from the 4.056 GHz carrier. The figure of merit is -172.5 dBc/Hz.
