Abstract :
A digitally-controlled variable gain wideband amplifier (DVGA), designed for application in radio receiver digital gain control, is implemented in silicon BiCMOS technology. The DVGA provides gain range of -18 dB to +24 dB in 6 dB steps with a 3 dB bandwidth of 250 MHz
