Abstract :
This paper proposed a gradient-based variable forgetting factor RLS (GVFF-RLS) algorithm in MIMO-OFDM channel estimation. This GVFF-RLS algorithm is preferable to the traditional RLS algorithm, which is based on the fixed forgetting factor in tracking system variation in time-varying system. After simulation, we can draw a conclusion that in time- varying system, this algorithm has faster tracking ability, less MSE and better astringency.
