  • Abstract
    Several factors affecting the probability distribution of discharge striking points have been studied by contrast test. There exists a hierarchy relationship between the probability distribution of discharge striking points and the breakdown voltage, the breakdown time and the development of head-on discharge. The distribution is influenced by geometric shape of objective, ground resistance, geometric striking distance, and so on. The study deepens the knowledge of the physical process of the selection of lightning striking points
