Abstract

Emergency control is an inherent part of operating control of electric power systems. The paper describes different principles of emergency control organization. Consideration is given to the components of emergency operation control services in electric power systems of Russia in a market environment. The criteria of subjects of relations (generating companies, consumers, network company) involved in emergency operation control are analyzed. The conditions for and mechanisms of interrelations among these subjects in a market environment are presented.
