  • Abstract
Wireless Sensor Networks consist of a large number of sensors with low processing and power consumption. In these networks the main problem is the sensors efficiency in energy consumption. Data Aggregation is one of the solutions for increasing both efficiency and life span of these networks. Another way of approach is the use of grid-based networks. In this approach power usage efficiency is achieved by dividing the sensors into two groups, active and standby. We implemented an asynchronous grid-based network and for Data Aggregation a spread spectrum chip code has been used which have a high capability in working with asynchronous networks, and in addition to using for sending data through the channel, they are also used for Data Aggregation. Finally, simulation results show the fact that in environments with a high noise rate the presented algorithms are more efficient and less packets are damaged in the data transfer process.
