Abstract :
A novel dual-band circularly polarized antenna is proposed with each band in a broadband operation. A dual-band double annular slot antenna is used as the radiator. A dual-band branch line coupler (BLC), which is obtained by replacing the λ/4 right-handed transmission lines (RHTL) in a conventional BLC with λ/4 composite right/left handed transmission lines (CRLH TLs), is employed to feed the dual-band radiator. The design has been simulated by IE3D and ADS.
