Abstract
The demand for spread spectrum radio devices is growing everyday both here in the United States as well as overseas. As this demand for wireless devices increases, so it seems do the government regulations that apply to them. One of the growing markets for these spread spectrum devices is the Asia Pacific region. One of the keys to market penetration in this area is to understand the requirements that must be met to obtain type approval. This paper addresses only the current agency requirements that are needed to obtain type approval in these countries
