Abstract
A common need is emerging for secure access to global data. Many communities are developing data management systems for specific problem domains. The result may be the creation of "stovepipe" solutions that prevent interoperability. The purpose of this IEEE sponsored meeting is to seek Global Data Interoperability, by identifying the challenges and identifying technologies that can be used to meet the challenges.
