Abstract
In this paper, system-level verification/validation techniques based on SystemC were used to build a transaction- level model of the Bluetooth base band unit. The model was verified in a simulation platform we present, named Platform Architect, being developed in Coware Company. With the diagram produced by the platform, the soft program and hardware modules have been revised until the key factors of the design were satisfied. Based on the above, this model was progressively refined until a synthesizable RTL model was obtained. Such design flow on the platform architect not only speed up the developing progress, but also improve the system´s performance.
