Abstract :
The rational site selection of thermal power plant will impact the economic operation and sustainable development directly. On the basis of construction of index system for evaluating thermal power plant site selection, the method of rough sets is applied to obtain the index weights, which only lie on the system potential information. Through the method of expert group decision-making, the quantitative and qualitative information is integrated, and then the priority of the alternative locations is obtained based on the information. The multi-objective optimal model for site selection is built up to balance the economical efficiency and average comprehensive efficiency. In consideration of decision-maker´s predilection and heat load demand, the two goals of cost minimum and average comprehensive efficiency maximum are achieved at the same time. Example indicates that the method for site selection supplied in this paper possesses some advantages, such as scientificity and practicability.
