Abstract :
In this paper we show how to determine the capacity of a TD-CDMA system, for the simplest case of interference due to mobile users within a single cell first. Then we discuss the capacity in multi-cell including uplink and downlink. Smart antenna (SA) technique, combined with joint detection (JD), can improve the system capacity and enhance the system performance markedly. The simulation results of the capacity under different conditions indicate that.
