Abstract
This paper presents a recursive adaptive algorithm using block pulse functions (BPF) for continuous time SISO linear time-invariant systems. The algorithm improves the convergence performance because the BPF is immune to noise and transforms differential equations into algebraic equations. The simulation shows that the new algorithm has better result than conventional method
