Abstract
In this paper, we have studied the WGM (whispering-gallery-modes) structure in interacting spherical microcavities formed from melamine formaldehyde (MF) latex microspheres of 3.078 μm average diameter (MicroParticles GmbH) with a thin shell of CdTe nanocrystals (NCs) on their surface. The micro-photoluminescence (PL) spectra were measured using a RENISHAW micro-Raman system (1800 mm-1 grating, ∼1 cm-1 resolution).
