Abstract :
Sparse channels are often encountered in many highspeed digital wireless communication applications. In this paper, a novel blind equalization algorithm is proposed that exploits the sparseness nature of the channel, leading to considerable computational savings. The proposed equalizer based on the mechanism of sparse processing belongs to the family of recursive super-exponential equalizers, which has the superiority in good convergence performance to the desired solution. As a result, both less complexity and faster convergence rate are achieved by this approach. The performance of the new algorithm is tested in Computer simulation, and the simulation result shows its efficiency.
