Abstract
We report on our trial and successful results in the pedestal suppression of 100 fs higher order soliton compressed optical pulses. We have chosen the compound fiber loop mirror scheme for the pedestal removal because of its simple configuration, and of the higher degree of freedom in the device design (more parameters).
