Abstract :
The laser emitting circuit is an important part of laser range finders system, which of the characteristic directly affects the performance of laser range finders. To improve the measure distance, the ranging accuracy and atmospheric transport performance of laser ranging system, based on the analysis and measurement of the parasitic parameters about the tunnel junction multi-active region semiconductor lasers, and considering the distribution parameters by the influence of the drive circuit. By adopting PSPICE simulation software to analysis the electrical distributed parameters of the lasers and the external circuit, which how to affect the laser pulse rising edge and pulse width. On this basis, the optimized design of a narrow pulse drive source can be realized for semiconductor laser, and research the advantage and disadvantage on different arrangement packing of lasers. This paper achieves the goal which the rise time is 4ns and the peak power is 210W of the laser pulse.
