Abstract
Toward the traditional millimeter-wave microstrip antenna having narrow band and high side-lobe causing severe influence to radiation of antenna, a novel 8 element feed network is designed, which has a asymmetry structure. Comparing with traditional antenna array, we certify this kind of antenna has ability to wide bandwidth and enhance performance of patterns. The bandwidth of the antenna is about 10% (VSWR <1.5, 33.5-37GHz). The gain of antenna is 13.5 dBi with minimum side-lobe level of -23 dB. Due to use of asymmetry feed network structure, the antenna is suitable for active integration with other microwave circuits, especially for large antenna array being anti-interference.
