Abstract
This paper describes a simulation program with analog/digital mixed signal emphasis (SPADE) using analog hardware description language (AHDL). For one decade, we have developed several types of circuit simulators and an environment, ASSIST, for the development of a variety of specific simulators. ASSIST provides a set of programming libraries which are essential to develop the simulators and device model libraries. In our system, a specific hardware structural description language HAL is used. Furthermore, device models are programmed by C language with a variety of functions defined in ASSIST. In this paper, the tools to convert MAST AHDL templates into the model functions and HAL are presented. As a result, a circuit simulator with AHDL is constructed
