  • Abstract
    A simple design of a wideband slot antenna with back-strip is presented. The proposed antenna is constructed by a CPW capacitively coupled annular-ring slot antenna and a back-strip. The dimensions of the slot and the back-strip decide the two resonant frequencies of the proposed antenna, respectively. Results show that the impedance bandwidth of the proposed wideband annular-ring slot antenna is about 80% and this broadband is suitable for WLAN and WiMAX system. Details of the proposed wideband designs are described and experimental results are presented and discussed.
