Abstract
In this paper, an adaptive grouping method combined with MF-FMA (AMF-FMA) for solving low-frequency problem from electromagnetic wave scattering problems is described. One advantage of the presented AMF-FMA method is that it doesn´t need to mesh the whole object as dense as MF-FMA, MF-FMA is applied for capturing the fine details of the structure accurately, and MLFMA is implemented for the rest of the object. Numerical experiments of typical examples are performed and comparison to verify the AMF-FMA is efficient.
