Abstract :
The purpose of this project is to demonstrate that a comprehensive polygraphic audiovisual monitoring system supported by computerized heuristic algorithms can detect, analyze, predict and diagnose in a reproducible manner the onset and characteristics of apnea-bradycardia syndrome. The system will consist of three major components: an audiovisual polygraphic recording system, transducer banks, and associated computer systems. It is expected that this phase of the project will increase knowledge in both the monitoring and diagnosis of apnea-bradycardia episodes in infants.<>
