Abstract :
Parametric light generator based on AgGaS2 (AGS) with double pass excitation has been designed. Small nanosecond Nd:YLF laser operating on 1.053 mm wavelength was used as excitation source. Excitation pulse duration was 5-10 ns for maximal pulse energy of 540 mJ on frequency 0.1-5 kHz. Generation threshold was 91 mJ in the range 3.5 mm.
