Abstract
We propose a compact Raman laser system for atom interferometry useful for inertial sensors. Two phaselocked coherent lights are obtained by electro-optic phase modulation of light from a single diode laser. The carrier is suppressed by tuning an external Fabry-Perot cavity that only the sidebands pass through. Furthermore, a single tapered amplifier is used to amplify the two sidebands simultaneously.
