Abstract
In the Method of Moments for electromagnetic field simulation it is often required to integrate near-singular kernels over triangle elements. Near-singularity cancellation quadrature schemes based on near-singularity cancellation transformations have become a popular choice for evaluating such integrals. Such transformations are typically constructed to cancel out the static kernel, however, in practice they are applied to the dynamic kernel. Preliminary results for a range of schemes are presented, to study the effect upon accuracy of including the dynamic, exponential factor in the weakly near-singular kernel. The results show that this is an issue of concern, as accuracy can be affected.
