  • Abstract
    Possibilities of selecting parameters of characteristic polynomial of differentiating filter are considered. The selection should provide required quality of the filter and fast response of automated control system. Roots of the characteristic equation of the automated control system are dependent on the requirements to quality of the transition processes. Area occupied by possible values of the polynomial is analytically and graphically determined on the basis of correspondence between the area of the polynomial roots and its coefficients. Software for automation of selection of characteristic polynomial coefficients for differentiating filter is described.
