Abstract :
We focus on the aging studies of packaged (standard butterfly package) grating coupled sampled reflector (GCSR) lasers. Schematic structure of the GCSR laser and overlapped lasing spectra for 43 ITU channels are shown. To study various aging characteristics, a number of lasers were continuously operated at maximum driving currents
