Abstract
Structures of converters for electric locomotives with DC high voltage (24kV) of catenaries and multimodule active rectifier scheme for high-voltage traction substations are considered. Multimodule active rectifier is used to provide electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) concern with the reduction of interference in feeding networks and catenaries.
