Abstract :
In this paper, a four-channel high accurate sinusoidal signal generator to be used for the impedance measurements is presented. The whole system is constituted by the master-slave processor structure. Direct digital frequency synthesis (DDS) and the SOPC system are realized by the Nios II soft-core CPU embedded into the FPGA. The results demonstrate that the signal generator´s amplitude stability is with a relative uncertainty of 1.3 ×10-7 at frequency from 0 Hz to 1592 Hz when the phase is changed.
