Abstract
It is demonstrated that interelectrode capacitances can be obtained for three-dimensional electric-field geometries from the Z-matrix finite element formulation. The FORTRAN program WFEMZ has demonstrated that relatively large problems can be solved in reasonable time without overburdening available computer assets. It is shown that reusing suitable pass 1 results can save a substantial amount of computing time. Numerical accuracy of the method, though dependent upon the grid resolution selected by the user, is quite acceptable for reasonable grid spacings
