Abstract
In this paper we propose a two-way authentication and key agreement protocol which is used in the communication between RFID tag and reader. This protocol characterizes low computing complexity and is suitable for low-cost RFID tag. We extend Strand space and prove the security of the protocol. The result indicates this protocol has low computing complexity, high security and is appropriate for the RFID system.
